Full Job Description
We are now pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Early Years Practitioner/Key worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a experience working with children in an Early Years Educator role, demonstrating strong leadership skills, a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, and a genuine passion for supporting both children and staff. This position is a maternity cover role, commencing in September 2026. We offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the continued success and high standards of our nursery.
- A highly motivated and hard-working individual, a team player who has a flexible and adaptable approach
- Has the ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and other professionals.
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- The role involves working as a keyworker, you will ensure individual child's needs are met, including supporting children with SEND needs.
- You must have good communication, organisational and IT skills.
- Take ownership of the observation, assessments, writing reports and planning for children in setting in line with EYFS framework and deliver thecurriculumprovide developmentally challenging next steps.
- Provide a stimulating learning experience, deliver teaching, setting up activities and provisions.
- Encourage and praise children's development and achievements and manage behaviour.
- General support work under the direction of the Early Years Manager/Deputy Manager.
- Good team spirit and able to communicate with the parentsand external organisation.
- Sound knowledge of Safeguarding of children and all policies and procedures.

Salary: £23,339.79 - £24,426.84 (pro rata) based on experience + 6% pension
