Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

Introduction

The apprentice will work as part of the team and learn all aspects of working in a preschool. They will learn about all aspects of Early years care and education including; child development, safeguarding and how to support children with special educational needs.

About the Employer

Little Lambs Preschool is a term time preschool in Downham. We have been operating for over 28 years and have been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted since 2007.
We are a small preschool who work hard to support the children and their families in our care. We are looking for a passionate and hardworking individual to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Planning and taking part in creative activities and games
• Playing with children
• Preparing and sitting with children during snack time and lunch time
• Help set up and pack away resources
• Take part in the cleaning rota
• Making observations, recording them and sharing with keyperson.
• Build relationships with staff and parents

Training Outcome

To be discussed upon completion of apprenticeship.

Working Week: Monday, 7.30am - 4.00pm. Tuesday & Wednesday, 8.15am - 4.15pm. Thursday, 8.15am - 4.45pm.
