Full Job Description
Lead and support the practice of other practitioners in your setting.
- Oversee care, learning and development of children from birth to five.
- Act as a role model of high-quality, play-based learning.
- Contribute to planning, observation, assessment and ensuring compliance with EYFS and guidance
- Take responsibility for operational leadership: policies, staff development, health & wellbeing, and leading best practice strategies.
- Ensure continuous improvement and high quality provision across the setting.

- Experience working directly with children aged birth to five under the EYFS, in a setting that delivers EYFS requirements.
- Grade 4 (C) or above in English is essential
- Grade 4 (C) or above Maths GCSE, or willingness to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 if not already held., Applicants who are not UK nationals must meet apprenticeship funding eligibility rules, including having lived in the UK or EU for at least 3 consecutive years prior to the start date. You must hold a valid visa that does not expire within 18 months of your apprenticeship start date.
