Full Job Description
As an Early Years Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering Wakefield's Early Years Offer through Best Start Family Hubs and community venues. Working with children predominantly aged 0-5 and their families, you will plan and deliver engaging play and learning opportunities, support parents as their child's first educator, monitor children's development, and help identify emerging needs at the earliest opportunity. Working closely with partner agencies, you will deliver inclusive universal and targeted support that promotes healthy development, school readiness and family wellbeing. We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner with excellent knowledge of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage, and a passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
