Full Job Description

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and child development, proactive in implementation of the curriculum, and planning of age and stage related activities
  • Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
  • Experience of leading a team/room (desirable) - drive overall efficiency and ensure good learning progress for all children

  • About MiChild at Heathside Nursery Heathside Nursery is proudly rated good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 43 children and has been part of the Mi Child family since 2020. We are in Runcorn WA7, near the health office and local to Heath Park. We are also local to several commuting routes, such as the shopping centre, and Runcorn old town and a 10 minute walk to Runcorn train station, and local to many more local locations. Our setting has had a full refurbishment, and recently our baby garden has had a full re-design. We are lucky enough to have two very large outdoor spaces, offering our children and staff countless opportunities to engage in outdoor activities in natural environments in the great outdoors. We have on site parking facilities.

  • Shift Patterns: This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.
  • Early Shift: 7.30am -4.00pm
  • Middle Shift: 8.30am- 5.00pm
  • Late Shift: 9.00am-6.00pm
