Early Years Educator

Wise Owls Childcare is looking for a qualified, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Farm View Day Nursery in Spencers Wood. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing, child-centred environment, supporting children aged 8 weeks to 5 years as they learn, develop and thrive.

About the Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through high-quality care and education.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Acting as a Key Person for a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are understood and supported.

Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Observing, assessing and monitoring children's development and progress.

Maintaining accurate learning journeys and developmental records.

Identifying next steps in learning and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

Sharing children's achievements, progress and development with parents and carers.

Supporting children's personal, social, emotional and educational development.

Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.

Taking an active role in maintaining high standards of care, education and safeguarding.

All successful applicants will undertake safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS check paid for by the company.
