Full Job Description

The governors of Trinity Primary School, Skelmersdale are excited to appoint and welcome an Early years class teacher into their existing School family.

The successful candidate will be:

Shortlisting is on 12th June 2026 and Interviews will be on the Friday 19th June 2026. Interviewees to teach a 30min lesson at Trinity on 17th June 2026.

+ Qualified Teacher status or equivalent
+ Degree/PGCE or equivalent qualifications
+ Minimum Three A Levels
+ Grade 6 or above in GCSE Mathematics and English

Desirable Qualifications

+ Other educational/professional qualifications

Essential Experience

+ Successful experience of teaching through placement or via paid employment
+ Evidence of providing excellent provision for all pupils achieving high standards of pupil progress.
+ Proof of pupil progress because of your teaching

Desirable Experience

+ An excellent understanding of and experience in using assessment and data management
+ Experience of successful teaching/teaching practice in Key Stage 1
+ Experience of successful teaching/teaching practice in Key Stage 2
