Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity to help bring our innovative curriculum to life, supporting children in our nursery and preschool to reach their full potential. We are looking to recruit two Early Years Apprentices, who will be studying towards either a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, to join our dedicated team.

What You'll Do
You’ll be part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. You’ll join colleagues who work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where staff and pupils thrive together.
Daily duties will include:
- Warm greeting for children
- Working in small groups
- Safely supervision
- Health and Safety checks – checking toys and equipment
- Support snack and lunch times - supervision
- Personal hygiene - Nappy changing/toileting support
Building to:
- Setting up small group learning experiences
- Taking part in pupil assessments, monitoring and record keeping
- Meeting and working with families (alongside an experienced adult)
- Making phone calls to parents – wellbeing check ins
Training Outcome
Potential to have opportunities to work across different settings within the Futura Trust group of schools, visit other settings to broaden their experience, and access additional CPD including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Thrive and Basic Makaton training.
