About the Employer
Little Stars Childcare is conveniently located close to Tamworth town centre B79 making us easily accessible for families across Tamworth and surrounding areas. We are situated close to major transport links, including the M42, providing easy access for parents travelling to and from work. A bus stop is located next to the setting offering excellent public transport connectins. Drop off directly outside the setting.
Our setting benefits from a secure outdoor learning area a dedicated sensory room, providing children with a variety of enriching experiences to support their learning, development and wellbeing. We offer a warm, welcoming child-centred environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Little Stars Nursery is a home from home for children where we focus on unlocking childrens awe and wonder through play to build on learning
What You'll Do
You will be:
- Supporting children aged 0-5 years in their learning and development
- Assisting with daily routines
- Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children
- Play alongside and with children to support their play
- Supporting children’s creative and imaginative experiences
- Maintaining development records on key children
- Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes
- Contributing to and promoting health and safety
- Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times
- Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child
Training Outcome
Once a qualified position for a full level 3 job is available. To be able to work up within the setting to become room leader / manager level.
