Introduction
An Early Years Apprenticeship opportunity for someone looking for a career in childcare. We offer Breakfast and After School Clubs at local primary schools. You will be mentored/supported throughout the apprenticeship and provided with additional training. Duties include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
About the Employer
Kids Collective offers Breakfast Clubs and After School Clubs at eight local primary schools during term-time, each exclusive to children attending the host school. We also provide Holiday Clubs for children aged 3-11 years located at Bollin Primary School in Bowdon, which welcome children from any school.What You'll Do
- To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, parents and carers
- To provide the highest standards of childcare and excellent levels of customer service at all times
- To understand fully and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures at all times
- To plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and evaluate as required
- To have an understanding that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and that you have a duty to act accordingly and report any concerns
- Working with an experienced team, to help you complete your apprenticeship
Training Outcome
Once the course is completed you may be offered a practitioner role within a nursery, or a playworker role at our before and after school clubs. Whichever you choose you may have the opportunity to go on and progress throughout the company.

Working Arrangements
Working Week: Monday- Friday 7.30am- 9.00am - Breakfast Club and 3.00pm- 6.00pm - Afterschool Club. On Fridays, hours will be 9.00am - 1.00pm. This will be study time for your apprenticeship.
Expected Duration: 1 Year 6 Months
