Full Job Description
As ECT Maths Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build pupils' confidence, fluency and reasoning. You will be supported to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
- Secure foundations through clear explanation and modelling
- Fluency and accuracy through purposeful practice and retrieval
- Reasoning through structured questioning and guided problem-solving
- GCSE confidence through deliberate practice, feedback and consistent routines
ECT (or soon-to-qualify) with QTS (or working towards) - Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- A calm, organised approach and high expectations
- Willingness to learn, reflect and develop through mentoring
- Strong relationships and a positive classroom culture
