Ward 5A is a busy ENT, Plastics and female surgical ward. We are looking for a dynamic registered nurse to join our team and support patients to receive the best care. We pride ourselves on our good teamwork and happy workplace.
The role of the Band 5 on Ward 5A is diverse and offers many training opportunities, from tracheostomy to leech therapy. All training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The responsibilities include providing evidence- and research-based care, supporting junior staff, ensuring a safe and clean environment, managing safeguarding of vulnerable adults, and delivering kind and compassionate care to patients.

- Wound management

- Ensuring care plans are up to date and clear
- Looking after patients' nutritional needs
- Encouraging patient independence
- Mentoring junior staff and students
