Full Job Description

  • Respond promptly and appropriately to operational issues, ensuring the relevant Head of Department (HOD), Maintenance team, or Senior Management is informed to facilitate a timely and positive resolution.
  • Liaise with external contractors, ensuring adherence to club procedures in the absence of the Maintenance team.
  • Manage and document any incidents or emergencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
  • Conduct essential Health & Safety compliance tasks as required.
  • Complete mandatory First Aid and Emergency Response training.
  • Anticipate and respond to member needs, both on an individual and operational level.
  • Provide cover for team members during breaks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Perform daily opening and closing checks across all areas, addressing any issues and reporting them to Senior Management and the appropriate HOD.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of pool plant facilities in accordance with company standards and Maintenance team's guidance.
  • Monitor staff punctuality and attendance, ensuring any instances of lateness or sickness are accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant personnel.
  • Address and resolve immediate staffing concerns, including the completion and submission of required documentation.
  • Handle and resolve in-person member complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Undertake basic maintenance tasks in the absence of the Maintenance team.
  • Gain knowledge of all operational areas-including Front-of-House and F&B services to provide cross-departmental support during busy periods.

  • Be flexible and available to work 5 days out of 7 on a rotation basis to include mornings, afternoons and evenings., Duty manager experience.
  • Front of House experience.
  • First Aid.
  • RLSS.
  • Safeguarding.
