Duty Manager (WET)

We have an opportunity for a full-time permanent Duty Manager at Chester le Street Leisure Centre. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue providing a high-quality service to customers, that is safe, efficient and enjoyed by users; supporting the Operations Manager to maximise income and to lead a team that is motivated, positive, customer focussed and that implements a "can do" culture in line with the thrive values. You will act as a physical activity advocate, proactively encouraging and supporting customers to live a healthy lifestyle.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant area
• Pool Plant Qualification
• RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification
• Significant experience working in a wet side sport/leisure environment and supervisory experience is essential.
• You must have experience of supervising employees, along with Health & Safety experience and of providing excellent customer service.
• Good communication skills and knowledge of the Sport and Leisure industry are essential.
