Grade E Point 4-5 (£25,185 - £25,583)17.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year£10,501 - £10,667 (actual salary) We are seeking to appoint from September 26, a Designated Specialist Provision Admin Assistant to support the Designated Specialist Provision (DSP) Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) with high quality, relevant administration support services. This is to ensure that SEND pupils can achieve their learning potential. The role reports directly to the DSP SENDCo and will support the admin for our Designated Specialist Provision. The main duties of the post will be:
- Work with SENDCo, Main School Administrators, Exams Officer and Admissions Officer.
- Coordination of the Annual Review process to include collation of all relevant paperwork.
- Assist with the TA timetables and day to day cover of TA staff
- Organisation and timetabling of exam access arrangements.
- Liaise with County teams, regarding matters of pupils' SEN details.
- Accurate SIMS entry, storage and reporting of student data.
- Update and Maintain SEN data on SIMS.
- Tracking Admissions files and deadlines.
- Monitoring of the department budget.
- Assist in the responses to Local Authorities when consultations are received.
- Management of EduKey (Provision Map) in relation to Inclusion across the school.
- Maintain SEN diary for meetings, tours, EHC reviews etc.
- Support pupils' main school transition including liaison with subject leaders and teaching staff throughout the school.
Moulton School is a successful, popular and over-subscribed school on the northern boundary of Northampton. The DSP at MSSC opened in January 2024 and is a warm and welcoming space for up to 30 students, providing an enhanced mainstream provision for students who have an EHCP with specific Autism related needs. Students will have timetables which enables them to access a mainstream curriculum that is supplemented with tailored lessons and planned interventions. MSSC was graded Good in its last two Ofsted inspections, and there is a strong commitment to further improvement based on effective teaching and learning and high expectations of students.
