Job DescriptionDriverThe Army - United KingdomFrom £27,282 a yearBe our driving force.As a full-time soldier, entry-level Driver for the British Army, youll:Play an essential role in transporting soldiers and supplies across the worldEnsure people, ammunition, rations, and equipment arrive safe and soundDrive through desert, jungle, snow, and mountain roadsTrain on a range of vehicles from quad bikes to HGVsLearn cross-country driving, convoy driving, navigating, loading, driving at night, and moreGain qualifications in logistics, including a Level 2 apprenticeship in Driving Goods VehiclesTo qualify, you must be between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months and pass a basic fitness test.Set yourself up for life.During your initial training, youll earn £27,282. If you set your mind to it, you could reach Corporal within 5 years, earning £40,989.Youll also receive 30 days annual leave every year (plus bank holidays and extra leave after operations), free medical and dental care,
cheaper living costs, and free gym and sports facilities.
