Join our Rushmoor team as a HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver and play a vital role in keeping your community clean, safe, and sustainable.

Working alongside a professional and friendly team, you'll deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. Your efforts will help maintain high standards across the community while providing excellent customer service every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-planned route as the driver, with your team of loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.


• Be the public face of Serco in the community.


• Ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready, before setting off on your round.


• Work alongside loaders to stay active and help to get tasks done efficiently.

Ideal Candidate

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).


• Are physically fit and healthy (this is a must, due to the nature of the work!).


• Are a dedicated, friendly and professional team player.


• Willing to go the extra mile on your rounds to help your team hit targets.
