Role Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes


• Offering excellent Customer Service at all times


• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, ensuring they are positive ambassadors of the Wolseley brand


• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out daily checks on the vehicle, equipment, and load, and reporting any defects


• Working well within the transport team, including liaising with the driving team and transport administration


• Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required

Candidate Requirements

• A full, Class 1 HGV licence


• Up-to-date knowledge of digital tachographs


• Driver CPC


• Experience of using, or willingness to learn, digital technology, such as handheld devices


• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on the night shift.
