Driver / General Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Driver / Catering Assistant to join our team supporting catering operations across our Steyning sites.

Steyning consists of five different sites spread across a large geographical area, supported by one central production kitchen. A key part of this role is transporting food and supplies between locations using the company van, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

In addition to driving duties, you will assist the catering team with food preparation and general kitchen support., Deliver food, equipment, and supplies between sites using the company van.

- Ensure all deliveries are made safely and on schedule.

- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties within the production kitchen.

- Support catering teams as required across multiple locations.

- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety.

- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy, reporting any issues as needed.

The ideal candidate must be able to drive and have a clean driving licence and will require a DBS which must also be clean for this role., This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
