Birtenshaw are currently looking to recruit a Driver/Caretaker to join the Estates and Transport team. Our driver / caretakers are essential in transporting the children and young people that Birtenshaw supports to a variety of locations.,

• To support Birtenshaw by driving children and young people to identified locations using one of the organisations vehicles
• To secure and lock Birtenshaw buildings from time to time following evening or weekend activities
• To observe and promote Health and Safety at all times when conveying young people and driving the organisations vehicles
• To adhere to all DVLA Regulations and legal requirements
• To complete all relevant paper work regarding maintenance and safety issues of the vehicles
• To ensure Vehicles are kept clean and tidy and to a high standard
• To setup rooms for training events, meetings and school activities
• To collect and distribute deliveries across Birtenshaw Sites
• To contribute towards cleaning and site maintenance

• Full time - 37 hours per week
Applicants must have held a full UK driving licence (manual), including D1, for a minimum of two years.
