Driver

As a Driver within our HSSU team, you'll be comfortable with manual handling and moving transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg. You'll have a basic knowledge of drivers' hours legislation, working time directive and ideally hold a digital tachograph card. As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you'll be a professional ambassador for both our unit and Nuffield Health. As a Driver, your duties will include:

• Collect and deliver sterile surgical equipment to our hospital customers.
• Operate planned delivery routes with
a maximum of four customer deliveries/collections per shift.
• Provide a professional, reliable, and customer-focused service.
• Keep vehicles and equipment in good working order and report any faults or defects promptly.
• Maintain a clean, tidy working environment and identify any stock issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and transport documentation.
• Be flexible with working hours. Shifts operate between 4am and 9pm, Monday to Friday, with varying start and finish times on Saturdays.
  
  From £25,800 based on 37.5 hours, enhancements for unsocial hours, overtime paid at 50%
