Full Job Description

We're looking for a Drainage Team Administrator to join our North Northants team based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Network Manager and working alongside the Drainage Supervisor and the wider team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our daily operations are well-coordinated and compliant., Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire - hybrid workingHours: Permanent Part Time 27.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to usSalary: £19,805.50 per year + excellent benefitsWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Drainage Team Administrator, you'll be working within the North Northants team, supporting our drainage operations by taking care of the essential administration that keeps everything running smoothly. Your day to day will include:

-Monitoring and programming reactive works tickets to ensure completion within service level agreements

-Completing daily administration including closing site visits and tracking outstanding works

-Managing road space bookings and ensuring adherence to requirements

-Recording traffic management details and responding to Fix My Streets updates

-Maintaining accurate daily records of people and vehicles, and supporting the team during severe weather events

Have previous experience in an administrative role and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly

-Bring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

-Communicate confidently over the phone and are comfortable using a range of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications

-Take a proactive approach to work, using initiative to meet deadlines and support the wider team

-Have knowledge of highways or drainage operations, or are eager to develop your understanding of the industry
