Drainage Engineer

Full time permanent Salary £30,000 - £42,000 + on-call, overtime & benefits Metro Rod works with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Metro Rod Bedford, Luton & Watford - LU, AL, MK postcode areas. Coverage across the UK via over 60 franchisees. Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, there are also Willow Pumps and Filta, focusing on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. What's involved?

• Carry out a range of services associated with our emergency services offering, cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of our customer's assets new and old
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
• Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times
• Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude
• Cover normal working hours and "on call" out-of-hours on a rota basis and have a flexible attitude to covering emergency situations when called upon outside of these periods
What do we look for?
• Experience in commercial & domestic drainage is essential
• Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining
• Drainage tickets including HPWJ, Confined spaces and CSCS
• Have experience with CCTV surveys and lining an advantage
• Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
• Want to be part of an exciting, growing and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence
• Be willing to work occasional / unsociable hours
• Hold a full UK driving licence - must be over 21 for insurance purposes
• Must live in the postcode areas noted above
