Domestic Workers provide essential housekeeping and cleaning support in environments such as private homes, care homes, hospitals, hotels, and other residential settings. They play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment for residents, patients, and staff. Domestic Workers help ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control are consistently maintained., Cleaning & Housekeeping:

• Clean and maintain rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces as required
• Change bed linens and make beds where necessary
• Ensure all assigned areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
Laundry & Linen Management:
• Wash, dry, fold, and store laundry and linens
• Handle soiled linen safely in accordance with hygiene procedures
• Ensure clean linens are available when required
Hygiene & Safety:
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials appropriately
• Report spillages, hazards, damages, or maintenance issues promptly
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Support Services:
• Assist with meal preparation or kitchen cleaning where required
• Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries
• Support the smooth daily operation of the facility or household
Administrative & Communication Support:
• Report completed tasks and any concerns to supervisors
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Training & Development:
• Participate in training related to cleaning, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Stay updated on infection control and housekeeping best practices
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• Previous domestic, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
• Understanding of infection control practices is an advantage
