Domestic Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Domestic Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within our care home located in Wooden, Saundersfoot. This role is vital in supporting both residents and staff by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control are consistently achieved.

You will also play a key role in supporting and guiding the domestic team, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.

Purpose of the Position:

️Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
️Contribute to a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for residents.
️Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and personal belongings in all areas of work.
️Support the smooth running of the home through effective housekeeping duties., Clean all allocated rooms and areas, including furniture, fittings, fabrics, carpets, and equipment
Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the home
Clean sanitary areas and equipment in line with infection control procedures
Follow all health and safety guidance, including COSHH regulations
Dispose of waste bags and rubbish safely and correctly
Report any faults, breakages, or maintenance issues with equipment or fittings
Respect residents' privacy and dignity while carrying out cleaning duties
Perform any other reasonable duties as required

️Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
️Ability to work independently and as part of a team
️Understanding of the importance of confidentiality, privacy, and dignity
️Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH procedures is desirable
️Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking attitude
️Previous cleaning or domestic experience is desirable but not essential
️Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the home
️Willingness to undertake any required training
