An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the James Paget Hospital Domestic Services Team.You will line manage Domestic Services Assistant's and will be an active member of our team working closely with other disciplines within the hospital.The successful post holder will provide effective supervision within Domestic Services ensuring continued professional and effective cleaning standards are maintained throughout the hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is IT competent and keen to learn and develop themselves.If this sounds like you and you have the drive and enthusiasm to make a difference with a key sense of customer care, detail handling and focus to deliver, we want to hear from you.

The post holder will assist in the day to day organisation and supervision of the Domestic Services Team, the main purpose is to ensure safe, effective and compliant cleaning services are delivered and maintained.In this busy role you must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills in managing performance and directing the domestic services team.

You will be required to communicate with ward and departmental managers and will be responsible for monitoring quality standards, compliance and take or facilitate appropriate action as required.The ideal candidate would have previous supervision experience, be able to plan in advance and be well organised, they must also be flexible, reliable and hardworking with enhanced communication skills at all levels.Experience in IT skills are essential to this role.
