Domestic Services Team Leader - 1110116

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Domestic Services Team Leader to join our Domestic Services department. This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

This is a hands-on cleaning role within our school with responsibility for supervising an experienced team of cleaners, ensuring that our School, Boarding House and other areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Other roles and responsibilities to include:

• To provide support to all cleaning staff in those areas
• To supervise cleaners as directed by the ADSM
• Support the ADSM in ensuring that the Health and Safety of all staff
• To assist in the implementation of improvement plans as required
• Support the ADSM on all recruitment activity including induction and training of newly appointed staff
• To help maintain the fabric of school buildings in good condition.
• To maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the
  
  school.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in working within a busy Cleaning/Housekeeping department and previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
