Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
To assist the Team Leaders to effectively manage the Domestic and Porter teams, Together with the Team Leaders they will ensure that, Patient, staff environments are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, and that the services to patients and staff provided via the department are provided effectively and efficiently.
Hours of work are 30.0 hours per week, early shifts starting as early as 7am, and late shifts, finishing up to 7pm in the evening.
The post holder will be required to have a valid UK driving licence.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a motivated and enthusiastic person who will have the necessary skills to support and effectively Supervise the Domestics and Porters to maintain and improve the standard of the overall environment and services within the Department.
The post holder will provide effective support to a group of staff and will require the appropriate people, co-ordination, communication and collaborative skills to undertake this task effectively.
