Overview Contract type: Permanent, full time 36.5 hours per week St Edmund's College is seeking to appoint a Domestic Bursar, a pivotal role which demands outstanding leadership and organisational skills, alongside a deep appreciation for the academic ethos and traditions that define collegiate life in Cambridge. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven excellence in project and people management, as well as robust financial acumen to ensure the smooth and strategic running of the College's operational services. St Edmund's College is unique, as is the wider University of Cambridge. We're looking for a results-driven individual who can thrive in this environment; someone who adapts fluidly to diverse communities and evolving requirements, yet has the confidence and judgement to set boundaries and make firm decisions when needed. Due to the nature of the role some evening and weekend work is required. Responsibilities As Domestic Bursar, you will provide leadership for the College's operational services, applying strong project and people management to ensure effective delivery. You will contribute robust financial acumen to support the strategic running of College operations and demonstrate the judgement to set boundaries where needed. Some evening and weekend work is required due to the nature of the role. Benefits
