We are looking for an individual who is passionate, capable, and client-focused to join the Refuge Team based in Calderdale.
The Refuge aims to help women and children fleeing domestic abuse by providing them with temporary accommodation and assisting clients to secure and move into their own accommodation, supporting them in a holistic and trauma informed way and building partnerships with external agencies.
You will have previous experience of working with vulnerable people in a support environment, with an understanding of the different forms of Domestic Abuse and respond in a way that makes survivors feel heard and understood.
You will be able to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding, risk assessment, and confidentiality.
Ability to speak fluent in Urdu/Punjabi is essential for the role.
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
