Full Job Description
Are you passionate about digital construction, information management and ensuring projects are built on accurate, compliant data?, As a Senior Document Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of digital information and data throughout the lifecycle of our projects. Working in line with Wates and industry-recognised standards, including ISO 19650, you will help ensure information is accurate, compliant, accessible and supports the creation of a robust "Golden Thread" of project information. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, suppliers and clients, providing expertise in document control, information management and Common Data Environment (CDE) administration.,
- Track information deliverables against Task Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs) and identify areas of non-compliance.
- Establish and monitor information exchange processes, including file naming protocols and information standards.
- Act as the key point of contact for project information management and CDE support.
- Configure and maintain project reporting, using data relating to information compliance, RFIs, technical submissions and other key project metrics.
- Support the implementation and administration of Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Carry out information and data quality checks to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Collaborate with project teams to maintain an accurate and compliant digital record throughout project delivery.
We are looking for someone with: - Proven experience in document control and information management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) management and administration.
- A solid understanding of document control processes across digital and hard copy systems.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and wider digital construction principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and information management best practice.
- Awareness of information security principles and their application within construction projects.
- Experience using Dalux.
- A good understanding of construction and design management processes.
- Collaborative approach, with strong organisational and communication skills.
