Divisional Sales Director

About You

• Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities within the division:
• Provide a link between the branches and Regional Managers under your remit and Company Directors to aid decision making.
• Achievement of divisional sales operational objectives and divisional sales financial objectives by developing business plans and sales strategies for the market and forecasting requirements; preparing annual budgets that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Provide timely feedback to Directors regarding performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.
• Provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values:
• Responsible for the performance and development of the Regional Managers and divisional branch network.
• Conducts one-on-one reviews to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales activity performance.
• Support the Regional Managers in their branch recruitment activity to maintain staffing levels appropriate for the branch, including producing business cases to increase staffing based on sustained increased sales.
• Identify any issues in terms of aged debtors for reporting branches and provide support for the Regional Manager to improve branches performance with defined published tolerances.
• Ensure that all Branch Teams meet or exceed all activity standards.
• Establish plans and strategies to continually expand the customer base:
• Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
