Dispenser

Our dispensary is a busy and rewarding environment, supporting patients who live outside Oundle. We also provide compliance aids (dossett boxes) for patients who need additional support managing their medication. As a dispenser, you will play an important role in reviewing medication at a basic level (DRUM checks), supporting safe prescribing and patient care., Your key responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing prescriptions safely and accurately
• Ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels
• Assisting patients with prescription queries
• Ensuring all medicines are stored correctly, including controlled drugs and refrigerated items
• Maintaining accurate records, including Controlled Drug registers
• Handling prescription charges and processing FP10 forms
• Ensuring prescriptions are correctly endorsed and submitted for reimbursement
• Prioritising and managing workload effectively
• You will also contribute to wider dispensary projects across Lakeside when required., Our dispensary team plays a vital role in supporting patients by:
• Dispensing acute and repeat prescriptions
• Offering advice on medications, health, and lifestyle choices
• Supporting patients with self-care
