Dispensary Assistant

McKeevers Chemists is looking for a motivated and organised Dispensary Assistant to join our team at our Manchester Road, Mossley branch. As a Dispensary Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the pharmacy team by ensuring prescriptions are prepared accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service to our patients. • Prepare and assemble prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Label and dispense medication accurately in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Receive, unpack and manage pharmaceutical stock.
• Ensure the dispensary is clean, organised and compliant with company procedures.
• Support the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team with the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to patient enquiries professionally.
• Comply with all legal, professional and company standards.
  
  Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential).
• A strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
