Experteer Overview As Director, Business Development in the UK, you will lead the company's on-the-ground presence from London, shaping client relationships and partnerships. You will drive new business, maintain key stakeholders, and gather market insights to inform strategy. You'll ensure consistent engagement when senior leadership is unavailable and represent the brand at industry events. You will work closely with internal teams to advance onboarding, deal progress, and long-term growth in the UK market. - Act as the primary representative and spokesperson for the company in the UK, with a strong presence in London and the broader UK market Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders Proactively engage prospective clients through meetings, events, and in-person outreach to grow the sales pipeline Provide local coverage for client and partner meetings when senior leadership is unavailable, ensuring consistent engagement and follow-through Establish trust and credibility by clearly articulating the company's value proposition and offerings Gather structured feedback from clients and partners and relay insights to leadership to inform strategy, product, and service improvements Stay on top of UK and European market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities Coordinate closely with internal teams to support onboarding, deal progression, and ongoing relationship management Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities as needed Support the long-term growth of the business in the UK market, helping shape commercial strategy and go-to-market initiatives Tasks 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred Experience in commercial banking, payments, private equity/hedge funds, blockchain, crypto, clearing, or capital markets Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, relationship management, or strategic partnerships Strong understanding of the UK financial services landscape and established industry network preferred Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills Key requirements healthcare retirement planning paid volunteering days wellbeing initiatives
