Full Job Description

  • Define enterprise architecture visions, principles and roadmaps that align with clients' sustainability ambitions and transformation goals.
  • Lead the design of target-state architecture, transition states and integrated technology blueprints across complex multi-cloud, data-driven and AI-enabled environments.
  • Mobilise and lead multi-disciplinary architecture teams, overseeing execution and governance for major transformation programmes.
    • Shape Technology-driven Sustainable Transformation
  • Advise Boards, ExCo members and senior technology leaders on connecting technology strategy with ESG, decarbonisation, circularity, climate resilience and regulatory compliance.
  • Integrate sustainability considerations into technology decisions, including carbon-aware architectural design, green IT principles, and sustainable cloud and data practices.
    • Design and Deliver Innovative Technology Solutions
  • Architect complex enterprise solutions including for example:
  • AI and Agentic Architectures for sustainability analytics, optimisation and reporting
  • Enterprise Data Platforms, digital twins, operational intelligence and data ingestion pipelines
  • Geospatial & Earth Observation Platforms and Solutions, including climate and nature-based solutions, infrastructure and asset management solutions
  • ERP and Enterprise Software Transformation embedding traceability, compliance, reporting and product lifecycle intelligence
  • Product and Supply Chain Traceability solutions
  • Sustainable AI and IT architectures advising our clients on sustainable technology and AI
    • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cost-efficient and measurably sustainable. Lead Market Impact and Practice Growth
  • Shape and grow Deloitte's sustainability technology propositions and transformation offerings.
  • Lead and grow relationships with Technology and Sustainability leaders across our client base
  • Build our market eminence and brand by developing and promoting thought leadership, points of view and market-shaping insights across sustainable technology, responsible AI, data-driven sustainability and digital transformation.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing community of sustainability focused technologist, including growing a high performing team of enterprise, solution and data architects and engineers.

    As we enter our next wave of growth, we are seeking an experienced Technology leader with deep Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, and Large-Scale Delivery leadership experience - combined with passion and proven expertise in sustainability.
    • This senior hire will play a strategic role in evolving our business, helping shape our technology strategy, shaping and winning major client opportunities, and designing innovative, complex and sustainable technology solutions for clients seeking meaningful transformation.,
  • Significant experience (typically 15+ years) in enterprise architecture, AI, data and technology strategy and complex technology delivery across large-scale organisations.
  • Proven ability to shape, lead and govern Technology and Data architecture for transformation and/or infrastructure programmes.
  • Experience and eminence in sustainability-linked technology programmes (e.g., climate intelligence, decarbonisation, ESG reporting, supply-chain sustainability, green IT).
  • Demonstrated success in influencing C-suite stakeholders and leading major bid, pursuit and account strategies.
  • Strong track record of managing cross-functional teams and building capability across technology, architecture and engineering communities.
    • Technical Expertise
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and Data Architecture
  • Cloud strategy, platform modernisation, API-driven architectures, microservices and data integration patterns.
  • AI/ML platforms, agentic systems, analytics and enterprise data platforms.
  • Geospatial systems, GeoAI, remote sensing, and digital twins.
  • ERP and enterprise system transformation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) in sustainability-relevant domains., Strong literacy in ESG, GHG reporting, net-zero strategy, sustainable operations, and climate-related risk.
  • Demonstrable experience driving sustainability technology programmes and teams either in an industry or consulting leadership role.
  • Experience embedding sustainability metrics, carbon-aware design considerations and green engineering principles into architecture and technology delivery.
