Full Job Description

You will be hands on with the activation of digital media campaigns for one of the most recognisable technology companies in the world. We're seeking someone to lead a team who build effective media plans and strategies, buying across display, video, audio and programmatic platforms. You'll be managing a team of 6 direct reports, so we're looking for a strong mentor to junior team members, as well as someone who is able to QA the work of others and maintain high standards. Once campaigns are live, you'll need to optimise towards a variety of KPIs. We're looking for someone who likes working in a fast paced environment and has strong attention to detail. As the director within the team, you'll need to be comfortable dealing with comms from either planning or client, with excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to manage a team, helping to develop the skills and knowledge of junior team members, whilst ensuring output of the team is consistently of a high standard. The key responsibilities of the team are to ensure all media goes live accurately and on time, that campaigns are optimised regularly, spend in full and are billed to client correctly at the end of each quarter. This role will involve working with media partners and technology vendors to launch a high volume of digital media campaigns across multiple platforms and markets. Work with an offshore team to deliver certain tasks, meaning that your ability to communicate clearly and QA the work of other team members.

  • Experience in a relevant media buying or digital investment role.
  • Able to deliver on key projects and set development plans for team members.
  • Previous experience of activating campaigns in programmatic platforms and DSPs.
  • Proven experience of managing teams and getting the most out of junior employees.
  • Hands on knowledge of DV360, Google Ads, Teads or Amazon DSP is preferred, or similar relevant platforms.
  • You should be comfortable with troubleshooting issues relating to creatives, delivery, data and pacing.
  • You'll need to be very well organised and able to juggle multiple priorities, as we deal with a high volume of campaigns.
