Director of Quality Assurance

Almac Pharma Services manufacture and pack commercial drug products and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for a wide range of global pharmaceutical companies. The expert services we provide support the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world. This role seeks a Director of Quality Assurance to lead the Quality Assurance department at the Charnwood Campus, Loughborough.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) department at the Almac Pharma Services Charnwood site. They will manage a dedicated team of Quality professionals to effectively meet business needs and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and the Almac Pharma Services Global Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS). The post holder will be the most senior Quality person on the site and act as the primary point of contact and representative to the Regulatory Authorities. They will also be a key part of the Site Leadership Team and work closely with other Directors at site to manage operations.
What we are looking for

Degree level qualification in a science related discipline.
Previous experience acting as a QP.
Significant experience in quality management within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience leading multi-functional teams.
Experience in quality considerations for manufacturing operations for solid oral dosage forms and/or non-sterile liquids across development, clinical and commercial operations.
Experience in managing interactions with regulatory authorities.
