Director of Learning - Computing


Location: Leigh Academy Minster


Contract: Full-time, Permanent


Salary: Leadership scale (dependent on experience)


We are working in partnership with Leigh Academy Minster to recruit an outstanding Director of Learning - Computing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Computing specialist to take on a strategic leadership role within a forward-thinking and ambitious academy.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop the Computing department, driving high standards of teaching and learning

  • Oversee curriculum planning to ensure it is innovative and industry-relevant

  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes


Requirements



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Computing within the UK curriculum

  • Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior role
