This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for providing strategic direction, operational leadership and professional oversight across all clinical services within the hospital. Reporting directly to the Hospital Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the hospital, driving clinical excellence, operational performance, service innovation and sustainable growth, whilst ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety and governance. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will work collaboratively with consultants, clinical leaders and corporate stakeholders to deliver the hospital's Annual Operating Plan, clinical strategy and business objectives. supporting the continued development and expansion of services., As Director of Clinical Services, you will provide visible leadership, ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient outcomes, exceptional patient experience and operational excellence., Strategic Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of the hospital's clinical strategy, ensuring alignment with wider corporate objectives and growth ambitions.
• Contribute to the overall business strategy, supporting service development, investment opportunities and innovation across clinical services.
• Work in partnership with the Hospital Director, consultant body and senior leadership team to deliver the Annual Operating Plan and long-term strategic objectives.
Operational Leadership
• Provide overall operational management and leadership across all clinical service areas.
• Ensure services are safe, effective, responsive and patient-centred whilst maintaining operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
• Deliver strong business performance, balancing high-quality healthcare provision with sound financial management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing clinical leadership team, fostering accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Participate in the Senior Management On-Call rota and deputise for the Hospital Director as required.
