The Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Continental Europe is a senior leadership role accountable for shaping and delivering the people strategy across multiple European markets. This role partners closely with BlackRock's European Country Managers and regional leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, build leadership and talent pipelines, strengthen cultural cohesion, and ensure regulatory and people risk management - directly enabling BlackRock's commercial success and delivery to clients as the most global asset manager operating in Europe. The role operates at the intersection of global strategy and local execution, shaping the future of BlackRock's people agenda across Europe. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in complexity and translates strategy into action. They bring experience across the European labour market and a strong track record of navigating global, high-performance organisations. This is a high-impact role requiring deep HR Business Partner expertise and the credibility to advise, challenge and influence senior leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed, international environment. We'll trust you to:

  • Own and delivera cohesive HR strategy for Continental Europe,aligned with global people priorities andcountrybusinessobjectives.
  • Service as a trusted advisor toCountry Managers andregionalleadershipon organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness,successionand change management.
  • Anticipateand interpretgeopolitical,macroeconomicand regulatorydevelopmentsand translate their potential impactinto clearworkforce,leadershipdecisionsandpeople riskimplications.
  • RepresentContinentalEurope infirmwidepeople initiativesand contribute to global HR strategy.
  • Operate locally but navigate globally tosupportleaders and employeesacross diverse markets.
  • Provide regionaloversightacrosscore HRdisciplines,developing high-performing partnerships with the broader HR BPs,HR Operations,Centres ofExcellence, Legal, Finance and othersacross Europe and New Yorktodelivereffective outcomes.
  • Drive standardization and process optimizationtoimprove efficiency and employee experience.
  • Drive organisational change andshape decision-makingon high-impact andcomplexpeopleissues.
  • Influence senior leaders on engagement,employeeexperienceand inclusion initiatives.
  • Lead anddevelopthe Continental European HR Advisors to deliver high-quality guidance across theemployeelifecycleanddriveresolution tocomplex operational matters.
  • Partner with Employee Relationsandlegal counseltoidentify, mitigate, and resolveemployee relations issuesandmanagelocal staff delegations.
  • Provide leadership inputintoreward philosophy and delivery of the annual compensation cycle.
  • Drive informed decision-makingthrough data and insight.
  • Reinforce andcontinuallyevolve BlackRock's cultureacross Continental Europe.
  • Embed the HR Channel strategy,employeeself-serviceand AI-enabled solutions across the region.

    Ideally 15+ years of HRBusinessPartner experience,includingdesigning and deliveringapeople strategyincomplex, multi-countryEuropean environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise,challengeand influence senior business leaders in a consultative capacity.
  • Astrongtrack recordof creating a shared vision and influencingHRCentres of Excellenceand cross-functionalpartnerstodeliver outcomes.
  • Experience working across the various HR disciplines includingrewardandtalent.
  • Ability tobuildeffective and trusted relationships and networksacross geographiesand cultures, inspiring trust amongst colleagues.
  • Experience deliveringfirm-widetalentinitiatives with excellence in fast paced, globalenvironments.
  • Strong communicationand facilitationskills,with theability tosimplify,influenceand tailor messages.
  • Ability to use HRdataandanalyticsto generateinsight andinform decisions.
  • Aleadership stylethat setsthe barand drives accountability.
  • Comfortinowning the detail as well asthe strategy.
  • Ability toadaptsolutions to changing demands,anticipatingthe regionalandglobal implications.
  • Strong commercial acumen anddemonstratedinterest in financial services.
