Join us as a Director Digital Marketing and you'll drive progress that really means something., The Director, Digital Marketing is responsible for defining and leading the global digital marketing and omnichannel engagement strategy for Convatec's Advanced Wound Care business. Acting as the Digital Marketing Centre of Excellence for AWC, this role will shape the vision, capabilities, governance, and best practices that enable stronger customer engagement, accelerate brand growth, and drive commercial performance globally. As a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team, the Director will partner closely with Global Marketing Directors, Regional Marketing teams, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, Corporate Communications, and Digital Technology teams to ensure digital channels, customer journeys, content, and platforms are fully integrated across portfolio strategies, global campaigns, and product launches., Develop and Deliver the Global Digital Marketing Strategy
- Define and execute the long-term digital and omnichannel marketing strategy for the AWC portfolio.
- Drive the integration of digital engagement across brand planning, portfolio strategy, customer experience, and product launches.
- Identify emerging technologies, customer engagement models, and innovative approaches that create competitive advantage and accelerate growth. Build and Lead a Digital Centre of Excellence
- Establish best practices, governance frameworks, tools, and operating models that elevate digital marketing capabilities globally.
- Act as a strategic advisor to global and regional marketing teams on digital activation, channel effectiveness, and customer engagement.
- Build organisational capability through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing. Advance Omnichannel Customer Engagement
- Lead the design and optimisation of integrated customer journeys across digital channels.
- Drive customer-centric, insight-led campaigns that enhance acquisition, retention, loyalty, and advocacy.
- Ensure seamless customer experiences across websites, social media, CRM, email, virtual events, and emerging engagement platforms. Lead Digital Platforms, Analytics and Performance
- Shape the strategic roadmap for websites, marketing technology, analytics platforms, and customer experience capabilities.
- Establish KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that provide actionable insights.
- Optimise investment decisions, channel performance, and marketing effectiveness through data-driven decision-making. Inspire, Develop and Lead High-Performing Teams
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen digital capabilities and future talent pipelines across the broader marketing organisation.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline. - Significant experience leading digital marketing, omnichannel engagement, or marketing communications within complex global organisations.
- Proven track record of developing and executing digital strategies that deliver measurable business growth and customer engagement.
- Deep understanding of customer journey design, content strategy, digital channels, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and marketing technology.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams in a matrixed, international environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across functions and regions.
- Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and customer experience. This is a hybrid role, linked to our headquarter in London, Paddington. This position will require travel up top 25% of the time.
