Direct Payments Monitoring Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Direct Payment Monitoring team, which is part of our System and Finance service within Integrated Commissioning and Partnerships, at Calderdale Council. The team supports the Adults and Children's Social Care directorates and is responsible for ensuring that Direct Payments are monitored in line with support plans, for individuals who want to manage their personal budge via a Direct Payment, the team will request evidence and cross-reference this against support plans, ensuring that spend is appropriate and accounted for., We are looking to recruit a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Monitoring Officer to help support the Monitoring team. You will be required to promote and maintain a customer-focussed, high-quality service, ensuring that Direct payments are monitored on an annual basis and in-line with the legislation, policies and procedures.
