Full Job Description
A support worker is required for a young lady with autism. This will be to take her to college in the mornings and to collect her in the evening with additional time spent supporting her with activities of her choosing.
This lady is very quiet and can be withdrawn until she gets to know people. It will take time to build a relationship and for her to gain confidence in the person supporting her. She likes music, crocheting and knitting and animals.
The successful applicant will be supportive and encouraging. Must have own car with business insurance. Mileage to be paid separately.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
