Digital & Video Content Creator

This is a hands-on role focused on creating engaging content that showcases the life of the School and supports pupil recruitment, retention, School values and brand awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering compelling social media content, photography, videography, and written content across a range of channels. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the role is ideally suited to someone with strong creative instincts, excellent content creation skills, and a passion for social media and storytelling. Working closely with colleagues across the School, the post-holder will identify and share stories that celebrate pupil achievement, staff expertise, and the wider School community. The Role As Digital & Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging content across our digital channels. You will manage the School's social media presence, create photography and video content, write engaging copy, and work closely with colleagues to identify and share stories that reflect the vibrancy of School life. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the School's social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Planning, creating and publishing engaging content aligned to the School's brand and values.
• Producing high-quality photography and video content for use across digital platforms.
• Attending school events, trips, performances and activities to capture content and tell compelling stories.
• Creating written content for social media, website news stories, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of website content.
• Monitoring social media engagement and identifying opportunities to grow audience reach and interaction.
• Building strong relationships with staff and pupils to uncover and celebrate stories from across the School community.
  
  We are looking for someone who is creative, organised and proactive, with a genuine passion for social media, content creation and storytelling.
You will have:
• Experience in a social media, marketing, communications or content creation role.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong photography and/or videography skills.
• Experience creating engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
• Basic video editing skills and confidence using creative content tools such as Canva.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand consistency.
Experience within an educational setting, graphic design skills, website content management and experience using social media scheduling platforms would be advantageous but are not essential.


• Salary: £28,000 FTE (salary pro-rated for part-time) dependent on skills and experience
• Working Pattern: 3-4 days per week, 0.6 - 0.8 FTE (exact working pattern to be agreed with successful candidate)
• Contract: Permanent, part-time, year-round
