Digital Senior Project Manager

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to support projects and programmes within Digital Services., As Senior Project Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the team of project managers and managing the delivery of new systems, infrastructure and business processes as part of the digital programme.

The Trust has standardised on the use of PRINCE2 project management methodology and all project managers must be qualified to at least practitioner level.

The senior project manager will be accountable for the projects that are delegated to other project managers to ensure that they are adequately planned, managed and monitored and will provide expert guidance and advice as required.

The post holder will be expected to deliver their own projects in addition to line management of the project management team, and work flexibly in accordance with the requirements of individual projects. You will be required to lead and be responsible for all aspects of the complete project lifecycle including management of the staffing and financial resources allocated to the project.

The post holder will be responsible for the production of business cases, including the identification and delivery of benefits planned to be realised during the course of the project.
