Full Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Digital Product Specialist (Student Lifecycle) to play a key role in supporting, developing, and enhancing the College's portfolio of digital products that underpin the student journey.
This role sits at the heart of Technology and Business collaboration, combining systems support, product improvement, user experience enhancement, and operational insight. You will help ensure our digital platforms are efficient, reliable, and continuously evolving to meet the needs of students and staff.
About the Role
You will take an active role in maintaining and improving a suite of enterprise digital products, contributing to product roadmaps through investigation, analysis, and delivery of effective technical and configuration-based solutions.
Acting as a subject matter expert, you will:
+ Provide first and second line support across multiple business systems, investigating issues and identifying root causes.
+ Analyse system usage, incidents, and user feedback to drive ongoing product and process improvements.
+ Configure systems, manage parameters, permissions, and role-based access models.
+ Develop operational reporting and insight to support decision making and identify trends.
+ Design and execute testing activities to validate system changes and enhancements.
+ Work closely with business teams, product owners, and technical colleagues to design and implement user experience improvements.
+ Document workflows, maintain knowledge bases, and develop training materials and e-learning resources.

You will bring strong systems support experience alongside a passion for continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
Essential skills and experience include:
+ Experience implementing, supporting, and improving enterprise or web-based business systems.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex problems and recommend practical solutions.
+ Experience developing system reporting and using data to inform improvements.
+ Knowledge of software testing methodologies and structured system or business analysis techniques.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
+ A proactive approach to improving processes, efficiency, and user experience.
+ Demonstrable relevant experience or a Level 5 qualification (HND/Foundation Degree/NVQ or equivalent).
