Full Job Description
The primary goal of the Digital Product Manager Apprentice is to support the Product Owner representing the customer to the development team. You will also assist the Product Owner with the responsibility for helping to shape and deliver the Product strategy that underpins our customer proposition by shaping the vision and objectives for the team and driving the delivery of the roadmap. A key activity is to manage and make visible the product backlog, or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.
+ Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen. Customer first, ABCD thinking mind set - Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
+ Good communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
+ High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
+ Strong stakeholder management skills - Good written and verbal communication skills, able to present to wide variety of technical and non- technical stakeholders.
+ Team player, able to contribute ideas improving and influencing all software deliverables and related processes.
+ Good problem solving and analytical skills, able to evaluate designs and technologies in a pragmatic manner., + Professional Scrum Product Owner level 1/2/3 certification - Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development.
+ Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
+ Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles.
+ Experience of working on agile software development projects, understanding concepts of SCRUM and agile delivery.
+ Experience of IoT projects using cloud-based platform development.
+ Knowledge of DevOps.
Entry requirements:
Entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
+ Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/1 x A Level in any subject/BTEC etc.)
+ OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)
+ PLUS
+ 5 x GCSE's including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
