Full Job Description
I am seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to take full ownership of my client's marketing activities within a fast-paced e-commerce business in the construction industry. This standalone, in-house role is perfect for a commercially minded marketer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is keen to make a direct impact by managing all digital marketing channels to drive revenue, leads, and brand growth. Please note this role is onsite in Herne Bay. Day-to-day of the role:
- Own and deliver the digital marketing strategy across all channels, ensuring alignment with business and commercial objectives.
- Plan, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns, including Paid Search (Google Ads), PPC, and paid social.
- Create, manage, and optimise email marketing campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, and automated flows.
- Manage on-site performance, collaborating closely with product and sales teams to maximise conversion rates.
- Oversee SEO activities, including keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, and content performance.
- Analyse and report on performance across all channels, using insights to continuously optimise ROI.
- Manage digital budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong return on investment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers as required.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices within the e-commerce and construction sectors.
Proven experience in a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager role or similar. - Strong experience managing Paid Search, PPC, and paid media campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience running email marketing campaigns and automation.
- Background in e-commerce, with a strong understanding of customer journeys and conversion optimisation.
- Proficient in using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and email platforms.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of marketing activities.
- Strong commercial mindset with the capability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience within the construction, building materials, or a technical product environment is beneficial but not essential.
