BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. Our digital marketing teams helps enable this through our social, email and website channels. Our Digital Marketing Assistant is a key role during our busy appeal season, supporting our digital marketing executives to deliver our email programme. WHY JOIN THE TEAM Working across our entire appeal, this is an opportunity to take real ownership of an area of our charity email campaign. You will work alongside a small number of highly supportive digital marketing colleagues whilst also getting the chance to learn from a wide range of teams within the charity who are united in their desire to help children and young people.,
- Support the digital marketing managers with looking after the day to day running of the charity's email programme.
- Coordinating with teams across the charity to receive copy, images and links and building emails from these assets using our email system (dotdigital)., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. Thorough attention to detail and experience of checking content for errors - Some level of experience of copywriting to specific tone of voice/brand guidelines
- Experience of using an email creation system (such as Force24 or Mailchimp) or website content management system (such as Wordpress) email provider for a charity or other not-for-profit organization.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing time independently
- Experience of keeping track of a large number of projects and stakeholders simultaneously
